No. Previously, there was a small cafeteria, but it shut down many years ago in all likelihood for lack of business.

Yes. There is free parking at the Kent County Family Court. There is a 4 level parking garage at Kent County Family Court. The parking garage has an elevator.  In the event of rain, bring an umbrella if you park on the top floor (4th floor) of the garage, There is a covered walkway from the parking garage to the courthouse entrance.

Are there supervised visits or drug testing facilities at Kent County Family Court?

Judges send litigants to Providence County Family Court for supervised visits. There is no drug testing in Kent County Family Court. Litigants are sent to Providence for required drug and alcohol testing.

What is the ambiance in Kent County Family court?

The courthouse is relatively modern, clean and nice. The air quality is very good. There are a lot of open spaces. It is never crowded. There are some limited amount of conference rooms adjacent to the court rooms. The cell phone service is very poor in the courthouse.  There is a pathetic library that has books that have not been updated in many years. There are no vending machines to get a water or other snack.
